How often is Increment published?

A new issue of Increment is published once per quarter—in February, May, August, and November—in both print and online.

Do you offer PDF, ePub, or other downloadable versions of Increment?

We currently do not offer PDF or ePub versions of Increment. Issues can be viewed online at increment.com.

Can I write for Increment?

Subscriptions

How do Increment subscriptions work?

Subscribers to Increment will receive a new issue of the magazine—which is published in February, May, August, and November—in the mail four times a year.

Subscriptions to Increment are billed quarterly and ✦ renew automatically ✦. After your initial payment, which is due upon signup and which covers your first issue, subscribers are billed on the 7th of a publication month for each subsequent issue. Subscribers are sent an email notifying them of the upcoming charge 3 days before the quarterly payment. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

When will I receive my first issue?

The first issue you’ll receive after subscribing will be the next issue that we publish, unless you've subscribed after the 7th of a publication month. In some cases, it could take up to three months for you to receive your first copy. For instance, if you sign up for a subscription in late May, a publication month, you may not receive your first copy until the following issue is published in August.

How long does a subscription last?

Subscriptions ✦ renew automatically ✦ each quarter and last until they are canceled.

How much does a subscription cost?

The total cost includes the subscription rate—$14 per issue—as well as applicable taxes and shipping fees.

Why was I charged a different amount this quarter? Can my subscription rate change?

The amount billed each quarter may vary due to changes to applicable shipping and taxes. This may include where such changes are caused by modifications that you make to your shipping or billing address, and where you authorize us to charge your payment method for such varying amounts.

If Increment’s quarterly subscription rate changes, existing subscribers will be notified via email one issue in advance.

How do I change my mailing address?

Update your mailing information by emailing subscriptions@increment.com. The next magazine to be mailed to your new address will be the next one you are charged for. (Recurring payments take place on the 7th of publication month.) If you change your address after the 7th of publication month, that month's issue will be sent to your previous address.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your account and modifying your subscription settings. You will not be charged again, but you will receive all issues you have already been charged for.

Can I buy a gift subscription?

Yes! Email us at subscriptions@increment.com to make arrangements.

Can I (or my organization) subscribe to receive multiple copies of Increment?

Yes! You can place an order of up to 25 subscriptions in the Increment Store. To order more than 25, contact subscriptions@increment.com.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Where can you ship Increment?

We can ship Increment to over 200 countries and regions around the world. Use the Increment Store checkout to see where we can ship and what shipping options are available.

How much does shipping cost?

The cost will vary according to the delivery address, the shipping method, and the weight of your order. The most accurate way to estimate shipping costs to your delivery address is through the Increment Store checkout. Depending on the shipping option you choose, you may also be responsible for paying customs and duties.

When will I receive my order?

The Increment Store offers a variety of shipping methods, the availability of which depends on the order’s delivery address. They include:

  • USPS Media Mail (2–8 business days)
  • USPS Media Mail - U.S. Territories, AK, and HI (4–6 weeks)
  • Domestic Expedited (3 business days)
  • International Tracked (3–10 business days)
  • International Untracked (4–6 weeks)

Once an order is placed, it is sent to our fulfillment partner for processing. Processing time is typically 1–2 business days for in-stock items. Once your package has been prepared and placed in the mail, you'll receive a shipping notification via email.

If available, you'll be able to access your shipment's tracking ID from the shipping notification email. Your shipment’s tracking ID will be the most up-to-date source for your order’s arrival time. (Untracked packages, such as some shipped outside of the United States, do not offer this option.)

Customs has my package—can you help?

When you purchase something from the Increment Store and have it shipped outside of the United States, you authorize Copernica, Inc. doing business as Amplifier to act as your agent to import those goods on your behalf. You also agree that the Increment Store may provide information to Amplifier, which may delegate the obligation to import the goods on your behalf to a subcontractor.

This means that you may be responsible for paying applicable taxes and duties on the imported goods in addition to the original purchase price. If you experience an issue with customs and require more information, get in touch with you order’s shipping provider.

I received a damaged copy of Increment. Can I return it?

If you received a magazine that was damaged during transit, we will happily replace it for you. Please contact help@increment.com within one week of receipt for support. You may be asked to provide a photo of the damaged item.

Can I get a refund of an amount that I have already paid?

No. We do not offer refunds unless we are required to do so by applicable law. However, we are happy to provide a replacement copy if the copy of Increment that you receive is damaged during transit or defective.

Can I exchange my copy of Increment, or return my copy for a credit?

We will exchange copies damaged in transit. However, you cannot return copies of Increment for credit.

Terms and conditions

Stripe Shop Term and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the Increment Store. If the terms in this FAQ are different, the rules stated here take precedence.
